Is your new DGN2000 fine then? Luckily I have zero issues with mine.

I have never managed to get 2 xboxes working on the same router with an open NAT yet. Have tried having one in DMZ and the other using port forwarding but still does n't work. Some routers its just not possible to do.

Had a similar problem last weekend when a friend came over.

Managed to get both open by giving both xboxs reserved static dhcp addresses (not set on the xbox but from the router) and manually opening up the ports on the router for both boxes. This was using a thompson o2 router.

It worked for the weekend. Settings saved to the router so hopefully next time I won't waste 2 hours trying to get it working again!

I've always had to put my xbox on the DMZ with all my routers to have and keep and Open NAT. I'm sure Microsoft/Games changes the ports sometimes :p

Yep the replacement one is perfectly fine...which made me wonder why my first one just stopped working...i mean the original one i could still browse the net, download stuff but it wouldnt detect my xbox which is hardwired ie cable...the only port that seemed to work was port number one but all the other ports were dead..no lights or anything. So plugging my xbox into port one worked but any other port it was dead as doornail.

Spent nearly an hr on the phone to netgear trying different stuff out but to no avail so in the end they sent me out a new one and took my old one away.

Not the first time its happened with netgear routers...my old DG834N had a few issues...had that replaced but within a few mths that stopped working.

Got two Xbox's run on my network. One wireless, one cabled. Both Open Nat and both at the same time.

Didn't change any settings at all, but It makes me wonder if I had two wireless if it would be the same?
