maybe a thicko question, but why cant microsoft just give a damn price when you want something off xbox live. they can do it with the live subscription itself. yet when you want a game it all goes to daft points.

After finnally getting a hard drive I have been downloading like a mofo. its great being able to try before you buy and i think it will save me a fortune. I know i wont be buying burnout and winged angles now anyway :)

My fave was Bankshot billiards. fantastic little game. but just how much is the thing to buy ?

nearly wet myself with lafter after downloading Gauntlet. cant believe how bad it was. I spent so many damed 10ps in that machine as a nipper its untrue. WHY!!!! :D

oh and when is street fighter out, thought it would be here by now.

2100 gamer points is £17.50 from game which makes a point about 0.833 pence.

Therefore a 800 point gamer is (in very round numbers) £6.50.

do you have to buy the points in bundles first or can you just buy pay whatever the game is worth, say 800 points there and then

Nope, you have to buy the set packages.

i got 2100 points other day luckily had £7 off so came in handy.

I think the pricing of some of the games on live is ridiculous, 1200 points for bankshot billiards! Geo wars is only 400 and thats a corker of a game. They need to make em cheaper considering most of the games are nothing that special.

ideally i dont want to pay more then like £4 anything steeper is just to much i aint forking out loads for arcade games all the time.

I bet SF2 will be about 1200 as well!

I'd bet a significant amount of money SF2 will be 1200 points (if not more!)

I dont really like the points system it seems to be there just to stop you knowing exactly how much you're getting ripped off when you buy Arcade games! What sounds better for bankshot billiards 2100 points or 10 quid!

2100 points is such a bizzare amount as well when you look at the arcade game prices 400, 800, 1200 points heres a maths challenge for anybody use all 2100 points on just arcade games....its not possible.

Its not bizzare when you look at what things like themes and picture packs cost.

I need to buy more gamer points, I have 500 left and I am not spending tehm on logos, pictures and themes etc.

Wow.

Bankshot Billards is widely regarded as the worst Arcade game on Live! and Burnout is widely regarded as awesome! Each to their own I guess.. now into the corner with you!
*points*

Give over, where did you hear that?

It's one of the best IMO, certainly beats all the pants jewel collecting games.

Looking at polls on Xbox360 sites :)

Well that does surprise me, I thought it was probably one of the most complete games on there and well worth the points.

Each to their own as they say :/

Has anyone got a link to a list of all the Arcade games available with reviews/screenshots. And previews of upcoming games would be helpful.

Looking for an easy game my 4yr old can have a go at.
