Xbox live bundles question

If you have already bought a premium Xbox 360 and have used up the free month of the gold account on Xbox live, then can you use a Xbox live starter pack on the same account to extend live? For e.g. the Halo 2 Start pack, can you use that after you have already used up the gold account. Or do you have to create a new account altogether?

i think u just goto one of the tabs and theres a thing to "redeem coupon/voucher" or something im guessing u just do that and u can still use the same account

Yes you can use it by going into the Marketplace and using the voucher code.

Starter packs basically contain a 12 month subscription, the 'starter' stuff means it comes with a headset, and optionally, a game.

Might as well buy one of them instead of spending a tenner more for something without a game.
