Haha I just had a fun convo with someone that called me a **** and a ******* *****. Sometimes (when I have drink) I can't help but vent back at them 100x over! The rage comes out and booommmb!

I find it so rare that real team work over the mic happens on the 360 in a public match, no matter what game it is.

nah, in my years of playing the battlefield series and CSS i have never experienced so much abuse over the microphone.

2142 was beautiful at teamwork because of the drop pod system and gear

Some css servers are brillant for teamwork and mic communcation, even found some good bf2 servers back in the day as well. Theres just too many kids on live.

Xbox Live is trash talk central. I used to get too involved with it until I just turned my mic off and put the vol all the way down lol. Stick to party chat with your mates - about the only good NXE feature.

Yeah the amount of kids doesnt help. People dont tend to be as serious about games over xbox live. Just find a good group of people and stick to a party with them.

I've only been on LIVE for a couple of months, but I find that even on Halo3, the chat is usually ok, with the odd plonker mouthing off. For these plonkers, I just mark down their rep, and add to a list of players to avoid... nice and simple.
funnily, I've found that the racing games get the worst language, I guess that's because they feel like they've had the complete race ruined... but in reality, what's another 5 mins until everyone's back on the grid ?

On FIFA 09 I find people don't really talk. They do however send abusive text messages following a game.

gears of war - a few really decent guys on there, who are now on my friends list and we chat like old buddies mostly silent on there too though.
cod4 - not much on team deathmatch but i recently switched to free for all (now that i dont suck) and its been really funny hearing some of the banter on there. had me in stitches last night listening to a few arguments.

I have to mute my mic cause I'm hopeless at games and get manic gamer rage where I start mouthing off at the TV then start crying like a girl with PMS for absolutely no reason.
