Xbox Live gamertag advice and profile help

Hi all, another question from me

serves you lot right for being so damn helpful lol.

Am I right in thinking that I can change my Profile name on my Gamertag but have to pay the 500 points or whatever? Will my gamerscore etc be carried over no problems? Anyone done this?

Also, in PGR3 (or any game that I want to play co-op with a mate for that matter), do we both have to be signed into Xbox Live? ie. two seperate Live accounts? Is there any way I can sign in and he can be on my team in Pro Evo for example?

PGR3 only supports online play for 1 person at a time, unlike PGR2.

You can play split screen tho with 1 Live! profile and 1 local profile if needed.

really? How do I do this? Just go into the options and log a second profile in?

I wonder why they took the decision to make it 1 sub per nickname, seems pretty poo to me....
