Xbox live gold 48hr trial code

I wonder if we should create a thread for these? I got 1 with Fable 2 and one with Gears 2.

I don't even know what they do. I assume they are useless to me as I have a 12 month active Gold subscription?

I was under the impression these can be used for new accounts (i.e. not existing gamertags).

Can someone clarify and I will give mine away here if they are of no use to me.

I keep all mine and use them when my live sub runs out. On occasion I have given the odd one away. I'm pretty sure you cannot add them up onto your current live sub.
 
They are for people who have a silver account as far as i'm aware. I also have a 12 month gold subscription so the 48hr trial so i thought i'd give away some 48 hour codes.

Yep I just wair for my sub to run out then add them one at a time when I fancy playing. Then buy another gold ready for when I run out of codes. I normally gather enough for 2 or 3 weeks at the end of my sub.

Cheers! (sounds like any gamertag can use them as long as their current sub shows as Silver).

I only have 2 so will give them away here, for now.

I cannot be bothered with checking e-mails etc, so next 2 people who post below this thread, I will e-mail you codes.

I wonder if a mod or original poster would agree and add "Requests" to the thread title?
Maybe a list of people who want one, and then copy/paste update list once you given one out. (Like the COD WaW Beta thread, which worked well, imo).
