Xbox live gold problem

I bought a code off jasper today, i entered it onto the website and it says i have gold but i logged onto my console and it says i have silver. WTH!!!

After puttin in the code, sign out, back in.

Tried that like 10 times an its still showing me as a silver member on the dashboard.

Its fine now, i had to recover my account twice to sort it out. This can be closed.
