xbox live gold sub question

Please excuse my newbness, can you buy a gold suscription actually through the xbox 360 ? or can you only buy it from etailers/retailers ?

Ive had my 360 for 18months any never really played it online altho ive been pc gaming online for years, anyways ive just started to play more fps on xbox so thought id have a crack online

ideally im looking at a months sub to see how i like it then if its ok i'll get a 12month

so where can i get a months sub from right now without leaving the house lol and how much is it ? :)
 
You can buy it straight off your xbox but you have to put card details in. IIRC when your subscription runs out it automatically buys you a new year, unless you cancel the direct debit.

Bombay have the month ones at a little over a fiver, he accepts paypal too and codes are normally delivered fast.

thanks, that bombay doesnt say anything about emailing the codes thats what im after really

if i wanted to buy straight off xbox which tabs do i click on and how much are the subs/length ?

He emails the codes, at checkout just select the royalmail option to get the postage at 0.0

He's on another forum but I dont think Im allowed to mention it here but its predominantly DVD stuff.

As for directly thru the xbox Im not quite sure as I had it mentioned to me they auto renew and I didnt want this

now im looking there are quite a few of these sites, the bombay looks cheapest so far
 
ok ive ordered a month from bombay, hopefully illl love xbox live then order a full 12 months, thanks for the info DW :)
 
just to update , received the code within the hour it mite have actually been sooner but i was too busy eating my breakfast to check emails lol

anyway it works fine and was nice and cheap, i also had a pleasant email from raj to ask it the code worked ok which is good after sales service :D

will buy from bombay again :)
 
what about xbox "points" , wheres the best place to buy these that email you the code ? i wouldnt mind buying the cod 4 DLC :)
