Xbox Live Headsets

Just been looking on ebay at xbox360 accessories and spotted these headphones

couple of questions as I think I may prefer these to the single ear headset..

1. are they official as I cant see them listed on xbox.com under accessories?

2. when connected do they block all sound from my tv's speaker like when I plug headphones stright into my tv?

3. are they comfy to wear and sturdy?

4. are they worth £8?

£8?! They can't be official for that much, believe me.
Either way, if you're trying to minimize sound from your TV you'll need a very good set of headphones.

Also, sound direct from the Xbox360 is very quiet without an amplification device.

ok thanks. reckon I may just take a risk on em as its only £8 not a massive loss if they turn out to be carp

I'm betting that it's just the original headset in a new housing, and I bet it still even has the one speaker.

They look very similar to the 3rd party 'commander' series that saw about a year ago on fleabay, these however look better packaged.

Still for £8 it worth a gamble IMO.

They are third party - you can see by the green logos on the side of each earphone - thats certainly not the 360 logo.
