Xbox live help

Xbox live wont connect for me today, wont connect to a network, or find an ip address.
I've tried switching on/off the router, trying different Ethernet cables, still nothing. internets working fine on my pc and everywhere, just the xbox

Phoned up xbox support, got put through to a robot, then some guy who said it might be the router or firewall, phoned up BT told me to phone up microsoft..

Only thing i've done today is set up ie, even then about 5 minutes ago i restored the internet options(using firefox)

any ideas?

Have you tried setting up a manual IP on the xbox?

Edit: won't work

Ok, got it working now, went on set to factory default on the network settings. Even still pretty random
