xbox live issue

I can talk and play with everyone on xbox live except for one person. This only started a few days ago and was absolutely fine before that. He's also able to talk/play to everyone apart from me.
However, it is possible for us to both join a game hosted by another friend (but we couldn't hear each other).

Any ideas? cheers

What is your NAT Status in the Xbox live tests? And what is his?

Both are open!

this has happened to me in the past. it was a router problem with port forwarding etc.

can't offer much more advice then check both routers (if used) to make sure all ports are open.
