hi guys, i'm asking for a mate, he's been having a few problems since his 360 came back from repair (for the second time 
).
basically almost every time we start an xbox live match as part of a party it'll drop him and only him from the party (but more often than not it'll let him continue in to the game), he's phoned xbl and spoken to them and they say it's the router, he's phoned netgear to make sure it's capable of supporting the live connection and it still isn't working. and right now he's talking to me from his sisters where he's taken his 360 to check whether it's working properly or not (so far no problems). and his PC is connecting to the internet fine.
so, what do you lot reckon? router, modem or what? i'm pretty stumped, i'm leaning toward router, but i'd hate for him to spend £30 and still be stuck at square 1
