This december my live subscription is up. Also up is my debit card at the end of the month. Now i had an email saying the payment was made, and it was. Also the the website it says my subscription is ok till Dec 2008 now.

My confusion is that i had an email from them saying:

We have recently attempted to charge your Xbox Live 12 mo. Gold Membership service to the credit card on file for your account. Please accept this reminder that your credit card has passed its expiration date and needs to be updated. The following credit card is the current payment method on your billing account:

Now is that just a gentle reminder that its about to expire? Because at first i thought they meant it expired so they couldn't accept it.

You'd be better phoning them mate because I'm sure I've read of people getting banned (not sure if it was permanent or not) because their card expired and when Microsoft attempted to take payment for their Live! sub, they couldnt.

Id ring them up and cancel your credit card with them. You can pick up 12 month gold membership cards for 30 odd quid, slightly cheaper than ms's gold plan. And best of all you wont have any problems with credit cards etc. :)

Right you have paid for this years (dec07-08) with your debit card, but its due to expire so they want the new card details so they can auto bil you next year (dec08-09)

I was hoping thats all it was. Cause they have actually taken the money, and im down as paid for the next year.
