xbox live pre-paid code

bought a 12 month live and a £50 voucher about 5-6 weeks ago, for my sons birthday went to use them at the weekend and both vouchers said they hadnt been activated. so a trip down to tescos with receipt in hand and the customer service desk told me after 10 mins that they had been activated and would take upto 24hrs to go thru but almost always its instantly.

so trotted home and waited. in the meantime the missus cleaned out the car in the process binning the receipt AND the cards still didnt work which has left me in the position that microsoft wont help me out until i can provide them with a receipt and tesco are unwilling to trawl thru loads of sales looking for the transaction to help me out

does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do now

How did you pay? Credit card? Debit card? Cash?

If by card, what about a transaction number? Perhaps Tesco can find your order off that.

i paid with cash, almost always pay cash unfortunately
