My GF's little brother has just purchased a Wireless Adaptor for his XBox360.
They have a dwl-2000AP+ access point, but it will not connect to it, even with all the security i.e. wep, mac filtering. Turned off. The xbox can see the Point and lists it with good signal strength but is unable to connect. The red light on the Wireless NIC stays red....Found that on the net a few other people are having the same issue. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Or if they have it working with the d-link access point mentioned..
Dont really want to tell them they will need a brand new AP! But i suppose thats life....Laptops can connect to the point fine!!
Edit....Just looked on the internet, and it mentions the adaptor as being a bridge...Prosumably that still means that it is the same as a wireless NIC in a laptop essentially....? Or do you have to configure any additional settings on the AP?
