Xbox Live - Refer a friend

For those who are signed up with Xbox Live Rewards you may have seen the following link which advertises 'Refer a friend'.

The basic idea is you send out emails to your friends on Silver accounts and, if they sign up within 14 days of the email, you both get 100MS points.

Reminds me of the Nectar card offer I've been emailed yesterday. Download and install their search bar :rolleyes:

and earn 1 nectar point (half a penny)for every 2 searches. Capped at 50 points (25p) a month

100 points is better than you were getting, nothing.

This offer is certainly nothing compared to the 10 free (can't remember if it was 10 but it sounds about right) XBLA games that was on offer a few years back.

People are free to do what they wish, no skin off my nose.

Better than 20 they offer for doing the survey. And you dont get them in your account till you earn 100, so you have to do 5 months worth of surveys to earn just 100MSP..
