XBOX Live signup problem

I have a new 360 and im trying to recover my gamertag, it goes through the process, starts the updating, but after a while it comes up saying "xbox live signup unavailable at the moment, please try later".

Is there a problem with XB Live this morning?

Seems to be up and running. The recovery gamertag thing has always gave me problems though.

Indeed it is. That xbox site i linked must be wrong or not used anymore or something
