xbox live, whatsup?

I've had that on and off the last 2 days, error code that not everything has loaded and the blades will be available automatically when they are available. I logged out and in again and they work.

One solution I have heard is to first:

Clear your cache.

Second:

Go to system settings, memory, system items, and there should be a file for marketplace data. Delete this file because it has become corrupt in some way.

Restart your Xbox and everything should be fine.

Had this happen a couple of days ago. The second solution fixed it. Doesn't do any damage to the Xbox, as all it does is pull the information down from the market place again when you connect.

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this!

Happened to me a few times over the last month. Will try the cache and deleting Marketplace stuff off the hard drive.

Ha Ha it's XBL end not yours deleting HDD stuff is just a waste of time just sign out and back in (don't even bother rebooting) and that should fix it everyone has this error at some time or another.

If it persists it could even be isp related (at one stage for me it was had to flush my ip addy to fix it!!??!!) again it is nothing to do with your xbox or any content on the HDD.

(The market place file is updated as soon as you connect anyway)

Funnily enough, if the file on the hard disk is corrupted, when you sign in, it won't update properly.

It was a solution that worked for me, rediculing it isn't helping anyone. If it looks at the corrupted file on the hard disk, then maybe just maybe there is a chance it won't update properly.

If you can't connect to Xbox live or the tabs aren't displaying properly, and you have tried everything else, it could solve the problem.

I had tried signing in and out multiple times and this made no difference. Also if were ISP related, then other devices would most likely have issues as well.

Ironically I tried signing in to Xbox live via games for windows live and it was fine. I also have a windows 7 phone and that worked fine as well pointing to a problem with a file on the Xbox itself.
