Righty...

I have my router and internet connection upstairs with my PC and my normal xbox connected to it.

I have now setup my LCD TV downstairs with the HTPC and My Xbox360. The HTPC is connected to the router via a Belkin USB NIC. Now I dont really want to buy a £60 XBOX360 Network adapter or a wireless bridge so what are my choices if any? I have a spare (Well 2) ethernet connections on the HTPC so how would i go about setting it up so that i could share the internet connection that the HTPC has with the 360? I do recall that there used to be a tunneling program for the original xbox.

LOL.... Ignore me guys... got it sorted now... For future reference here is how i did it...

1) On pc that accesses the internet via a wireless connection but still has a free LAN connector go to network connections, then select both the WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION (to router) and the LOCAL AREA CONNECTION (to xbox360) and choose BRIDGE CONNECTIONS. It will faf around for a short while but then it will apear with 3 icons. The NETWORK BRIDGE, WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION (Bridged connection) and LOCAL AREA CONNECTION (Bridged connection) then right click on the NEWORK BRIDGE icon and choose PROPERTIES. the setup the TCP/IPsettings the same as the WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION was previously and check that younow have access to te internet.

2) The go to the XBOX360 and set the IP Address manualy to the next ip address along from the NETWORK BRIDGE on the PC as well as the same DNS setting and away you go...

XBOX Live goodness without forking out silly money for a XBOX360 wireless adapter... :D
