Can you use your xbox live account on 2 different xbox's ?

Yeah, you just need to "recover" the accounts everytime you use the other 360. Quite time consuming.

or swap the hard drives over to the one you want to use.

Get a Memory Unit, put it on there and you don't need to recover.
Much easier and a real time saver (especially after you've had your Xbox360 a while as recover takes AGES!).

It depends how big your profile. My current one takes a while, but a test account (with 10 points on it) took less than 20 seconds. Obviously, RANCE6's profile with 150,000 odd gamer points will be quite time consuming
