I've just had a horrible thought - I live in france but I just got my parents to buy the latest asda deal (xbox pro + pes2009 + fable2 £167) and I'll be bringing it back to France with me on November 15th after a short visit.

Can I play xbox live with english people or is it regional?

The reason I ask is that I looked at the jasper1675 website and you buy codes based on your residing country - would I have to buy a France code or and English code?

EDIT: I've just realised that the majority is P2P so I can play with English people but what about official servers, are they open to everyone?

you can play with anyone around the world on XBL, you just gotta be awak at the right times lol

However the XBL codes are region locked to stop people buying them in different countries for pennies and I think the MS points are the same, region locked

Region being country and not Europe/Asia/Africa/NA/SA?

Edit:Nevermind I looked on jasper again and there's an EU card for €35.99
