I have just got a LE40A656 Tv.

I am running HMDI2 as the Xbox input on the TV with it renamed to PC input. The Xbox is outputting at 1080p for 1:1 pixel mapping.

Having it in PC mode turns off the image processing whilst still allowing me to adjust brightness and contrast.

I have tried Game mode which is incredibly smooth ond COD4 (can really see the advantage of a 60fps game running at 100Hz) however there is no room for adjustment and I find it a bit too dark and the reds are a bit pink.

Is how I have it setup now the best option for what I have? I am very pleased with it and hopefully any input lag is eliminated.

Well I guess, if you really are determined to minimise input lag. Personally I don't notice the input lag on my Samsung, it's not like I'm playing CS at a professional level on my TV or anything, so it doesn't make any difference to me.

Does having the XBox at 1080p make much difference? Or is there a chance the Xbox at 720p letting the TV scale up the image to 1080 could produce a better picture?

IM not too bothered about input lag just nice to reduce it. The picture really is fantastic

Just gotta play around with the settings I guess.

Also I'm curious, how does renaming the input to PC and therefore turning off image the processing actually effect the quality of the image? I've heard a lot of people saying to do this when using a PC but I haven't heard anyone recommend doing this for consoles or watching movies.
