Xbox One controller on PC via Micro USB...

How picky are they regarding the data cables?

Do "any" data cables work?

I am aware that "charging only" cables will not work for obvious reasons but I have known it can be hit and miss with USB cables.

Are the controllers "picky"?

Not picky in my experience.

Mine works with any old cable I've chucked at it.
