Xbox One Controller signal.

I'm currently renovating my living room and I like everything to be hidden, plan is to wall mount the TV with all cables hidden in the wall.

But I've had an idea to have a wall mount where it can extend slightly out from the wall, now, if I was wall mount an Xbox One behind the tv so it wasn't on show would the controllers etc all work okay? I'd imagine the controller just has to be in range and not in direct sight of the console itself?

It's a radio signal, so yes it'll work fine.

Wall mount the xbox behind the TV? :/

The xbox one has to be laid down and have plenty of breathing space.

If you don't use the disk drive it would probably be fine. As far as I know its just the drive which has problems since it wasn't designed to be stood up at all.

All I'm gonna be playing is Rare Replay and the new Gears of War, which I may buy digitally if this is the case
