Xbox One Controller Windows 10

Hi guys,

Just a quick heads up just in case this effects anyone else!

It seems that a recent update to Windows 10 has "broken" the Xbox One Controller when you use it. For me it works for a while and then you start to get some input lag, at this point my mouse just completely freaks out. Keyboard just about works and doing a shutdown -r -t 0 just leaves it on the RESTARTING screen where only a hard shutdown will work.

In a state of panic I rebuilt the entire PC and it was still happening, switched back to my old 360 controller and it all seems OK for now.

Mine is working perfect, was using it most of last night and never noticed any lag.

My xbone controller is an aftermarket one and it works perfect for me

genuine xbone controller connected to Win 10 pc via usb here, was playing Fallout for a few hours no problem Sunday night.

Finally, someone else who's had the same problem!

I had the issue in GTA V where it was terrible to use yet before it worked perfectly!

I ended up removing it from Device Manger and re-installing and it seemed to behave itself!

There's now a newer Windows update which replaces the offending KB3140743, which sorted out my friend's issues with GTA crashing with XBOX One.
