It's a shame this "Elite" console isn't a smaller one with built-in power. Maybe that will be the Super Turbo Mega Elite next year.

Wouldn't be any good being smaller unless it remains virtually silent in use.

That SSHD drive will prove to be pretty interesting? Trim support?

It's just a hard-drive with a (normally) 8GB SSD attached that the drive uses for caching frequently-accessed data. You can't manage the SSD partition yourself nor choose what gets stored on it.

Looks like the UK price will be £400 not too bad IMO. The Xbox One Elite controller lists for around £120 possibly £100 in other places and this has a 1Tb SSHD not just a standard 1TB HDD so 80-100 quid more for this console isn't too shabby really.

Will the power adaptor work? Or is it just a plug replacement?

I'm heading over to the US early next year.

Nope, gotta buy one off ebay or send it back to microsoft to get one. At least it's that way for UK Xbox's (power brick on my X360 and XO don't work in the US) and believing that two power bricks didn't die from the journey I found out online you'd have to get a new brick.

But if you already have one should be fine, assuming the connector hasn't changed (doubt it).

Is that due to the brick only doing ~240V rather than doing both 115V and 240V?
