Xbox One Hard Drive noise

Got me xbox one on Monday, been really impressed so far. One thing that's bothering me is since installing titanfall and ghosts onto the HD I'm hearing insane amounts of read/writes from the HD.

I replace HD's all day long and maybe one in 10 can sound buggered out the box. However this one sounds like a 5 year old hitachi dog of a drive.

Perhaps I'm just fussy, but this machine is sold a silent and the hd can be heard from a good 6 foot away. Then when you consider with instant-on enabled its basically doing it 24/7 even when off! A new drive making that much racket doesn't sit well.

I've sent mine back for replacement which will arrive tomorrow. You guys notice the HD noise from your X1?

I get no noise from the hard drive in mine, I suspect it must be faulty.

Sounds similar to this:

I know they use cheap 5400rpm drives in these X1's, but after one day of use to sound like an old laptop is worrying!

I'm just hoping the replacement tomorrow is from a better batch.
