Xbox one HDD

Can i format the Xbox one HDD, buying one on Tuesday, 362GB is not much and have no care for the installed apps.

Settings > System > Restore factory defaults should do it. Or you can remove them individually.

That's it? No format option like the 360? I'm guessing factory reset is exactly the same when you first turn it on.

A reformat will still leave you with around the same space. The various OS(s) and needed apps take up over 100gb if I recall

Thanks anyway, spoke to Microsoft and the preinstalled stuff is permanent, you cannot delete the stuff. The reset to factory settings only deletes the stuff you install.

Wonder how long the 362GB will last.

Sorry it thought you were trying to delete stuff installed by someone else, rather than the stuff that MS preinstalls.
