Xbox One headset on PC?

Hey guys,

Ive just bought myself and xbox one pad and headset to replace my aged 360 controller, the pad works fine in game but my PC can't seem to detect the headset plugged in. Does the headset actualy work on PC? I assume it would as the pad does but can't seem to find any info on it.

Does nobody have an answer for this? Microsoft live chat seem to be utterly clueless on this situation.

Never heard of it working or being implemented.

Not sure why you would tbh, the pads are great but the headsets are utter trash.

How would the audio communicate via the pad to the headset? Just not set up that way

I don't understand what you mean llamadal, I used to use the 360 controllor with the headset plugged into it and that worked fine through steam chat, teamspeak etc. I was also told my m'soft support that the xb1 pad & headset is compatible with the PC which they also advised me to return as faulty and get a new one which I did and is giving the same result.
