Just bought an Xbox One, been having a few newbie issues with party chat - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but unsure what the issue is. I'm using the standard controller headset that comes with the xbox one, batterys are fully charged.

All the network checks come back fine, multiplayer Game play is fine but my experience connecting to party chat is far from good.

On many occasions I connect to a party , when I talk I see the green light on the party chat light up however unable to hear people and people are unable to hear me. It takes several reboots to get working.

Some times I connect to the party and disconnects me after a few seconds.

I have experienced a issue also when people talk the first second of there transmission repeats it self umpteen times , nnnnnnnnn nineteen.

I've cleared the xbox cache by holding the xbox button in for 10 seconds but still having poor party chat problems, like I mentioned earlier it seems to be intermittent as I've had gaming sessions with party chat for hours without any problems.

Any help much appreciated.

Ive had issues when 2 people are signed into the console at once, (my wife and I) and even though the game thinks its me and the dashboard thinks its me party chat thinks the controller is my wife, so doesnt work right. Very annoying

I either have to join the party with both people or manually select whos using the pad.
