Hi all, new to this xbox one game and was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions regarding the HDMI input and the snap function, firstly is the HDMI input a throughput as well? I.e could I plug my TIVO box into the HDMI meaning only the HDMI for the xbox is plugged into the tv and then whe I switch the xbox on the tv will revert to the xbox but now I will have the ability to use the snap function and watch tbe TIVO box whilst llaying a game?
Secondly could I use this snap function to watch any media? I.e if I am playing a bluray on the console or maybe even streaming from a NAS drive.
Thirdly, can I even stream content from my NAS drive?

Lastly, I have noticed that the hard drive will become full very quickly, can I add an external hdd to install stuff on as well?

Thanks guys.

I have a usb 3 external drive plugged in to the usb port and the Xbox formatted it and uses it for games/apps. Dont know how the snap or hdmi imput work?

You can use the HDMI as a through, I put my 360 through it, but it only supports stereo sound, no idea why. So the xbone itself will out 7.1 through the HDMI, but any HDMI in well be converted to stereo IIRC.

Not sure if you can snap the TV app (any HDMI in is basically considered TV by the One) as I've never done it, but sure that was one of the selling points.
