XBOX ONE S ..screen goes blank

only for about a second and its random (but its enough to send my lad into a rage when hes playing fortnight lol) i've switched the xbox with another xbox and still the same , so i'm thinking there has been an update and my Sony 1050 amp not's liking it ?

I get that when playing star Wars battlefront 2. Very random tho. I've seen suggestions that a change if hdmi lead might fix it. Not tried it tho.

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?

not changed the cable as its the same one i've been using for the last two years

Its also the same Xbox (I presume), but you have an issue. Try a new HDMI, its the cheapest/easiest way to troubleshoot the issue.

I use Omars hdmi cables which have the 4k certified label, on all my devices. You can then rule out the cable being the issue.

had this with my last tv (Sony), was something to do with the HDCP handshake iirc
