Anyone know what's going on with these? I've had one on pre-order with GAME for a while, with a release date of today, which matches the date on the Microsoft website. But, just checked, and it's now saying release in 6 days.

ShopTo says Friday, so I've moved my pre-order to them as I get £5 back if they don't deliver by then.

Wanted it for this week :(

was expecting a shipping email from game myself until noticed the pushed back date. been using the controller wired so i don't mind a little wait.

Meh :(

I've been sorting out a setup so I can play on the TV as my PC is basically at the other side of the lounge, so want wireless so I can relax on the sofa & play Witcher 3 & Fallout 4 when it comes out.

I ordered from Game as it said 20th, with everywhere else in the UK saying 23rd. I don't expect it till then and have heard nothing either.

I hope they make it working with the Xbox, as my controllers sometimes have a problem with dropping out.

Shop-To now showing a release date of the 6th of November, any idea if this is the case for other UK suppliers?

Quite annoyed as I was looking forward to chilling on the sofa this weekend playing some Witcher :(

Got mine direct from Microsoft this morning, ordered Wednesday :)

Seems these are slow in getting to other retailers. Hopefully they turn out to be more available than the original 360 wireless adaptor which was like gold dust at one point.

I preordered mine with ShopTo at the start of the week and they said today was the release day.

Just cancelled and ordered directly from MS.

I was actually going to order from ShopTo but some weird issue prevented me changing my shipping address.

Glad it did now!

Mehhhh, I've also been wanting to play the Witcher with mine and have had it on pre-order for weeks! Cancelling shopto and ordering from MS now.

ShopTo have of course moved the release date back to 6th Nov now just so they don't have to honour the £5 cash back if they don't delivery by x.

Adapter for the Xbox One controller? I'm using a usb cable from an old Blackberry charger and it works fine with Windows.

Edit: Oh, wireless adapter. I didn't know they were releasing one.

Yeah, it was announced ages ago but has taken a while to come out. Should have been released along with Windows 10 IMO.

It will allow me to sit a whole 0.5ft back from my desk and not be tethered :p

Been thinking about a control pad for a while now, is the One pad worth the extra over the 360 one? I'm on windows seven if it makes a difference.

Impulse triggers have not worked in any game I've tried so unless someone confirms that it does then I will say stick with the 360 controller. However I do prefer the shorter throw on the XBONE controller and my Titanfall one looks very nice. Aren't you getting SWBF? Maybe they're designing a Star Wars themed one also.

I think the XBONE wireless dongle is Windows 10 only.

IMO yes, I used both back to back and the XO pad feels much better to me. They have also substantially improved the build quality since launch. My 2013 release day pad was always a squeaky, creaky bit of plastic despite still working perfectly. The Lunar White Edition I just bought solely for PC use is so much more sturdier it's unreal.

They feel like they work for me in GTAV, and definitely work when streaming an actual XO game, so I would say they do work.

Surely it's just sending the regular vibration signals to a different type of motor? A game doesn't specifically have to be coded for it to work was my understanding.

Hmm, dunno that I would upgrade if I had a perfectly working 360 controller still, the only real improvement is the D-pad which you often don't use anyway on PC games.

If you want or need a better d-pad then it's a massively good upgrade.

My Game order is being processed, I expect it to be posted soon. I'm sticking with my order as I don't want to pay more getting it direct from MS and I hardly use my controller anyway.

Ok - big issue.

The controller no longer rumbles in wireless mode on the PC using the adapter. Confirmed by other users on the net also.

I've tried 2 separate XO pads and also made sure their firmware is up to date via my console. Also Windows 10 says it is up to date with patches etc.

Plugging a USB lead in makes it rumble straight away - very annoying and something MS better resolve via updated drivers!

Edit - no rumble when streaming games from the XO either. What a **** show considering the 360 rumbles over wireless and the XO pad rumbles over USB :/

Surely something MS need to fix if the Oculus is being bundled with this setup? I can't believe they have released it with rumble missing though?

Back to USB for the time being.
