Xbox One Wifi Performance

So, my xbox 360 keeps dropping the wifi connection as its in an awkward spot, however my laptop (in the same spot) is generally ok. Now I can go with the obvious choice of a shiny asus ac68 to take over from my superhub 2, however I can get an Xbox one (brand new) for £215. How is the wifi performance of the one? The one is obviously the more exciting purchase, providing it has a better wifi chip.

Don't use wi-fi for gaming, either a cable or get some powerline adapters.

Lol. This is for netflix etc. cable isn't an option and we have similar issues with power line due to old electrics.

You could get a wifi bridge to strengthen the signal ? worked for me in the past.

I only tested WiFi, have it cabled now to a homeplug, but I thought it was pretty decent.

It outperformed the PS4 sat right next to it on 2.4GHz quite easily, and also has the bonus of being 5GHz ready.

Hmmm...the xbox 360 slim can be a bit flakey - though it doesn't connect on 5ghz. Argh!
