XBOX Only - Dead Space 3 Demo

So if you sign up you can get it on the 15th, however everyone will have access to it on the 22nd right?

This isn't even on my radar. The first game was fantastic, a real surprise hit and it came at a time when other games in the genre were starting to get a bit rubbish. Then DS2 came out and I thought it was "alright", now this? EA really do like to milk things until they're stale and then throw away the carcass and start again on another franchise.

It's more the fact that they are turning it into a co-op action game which is putting me, and I'm sure many others off. It's not what the previous games were about.

EA really need to stop milking franchises to death, when they said it would have coop I was less interested then the Kinect crap is just going to turn it into any other 3rd person shooter with voice commands so I can play with my buddy. It really is annoying now how a lot of games are merging into one because these companies chase money. Which is fair enough until they pull the artistic integrity crap when it's clearly money that was the driving force.

I really liked DS1 and grew to enjoy DS2 but this really does look naff.

My feelings too. When they announced the multiplayer component on Dead Space 2 I think I died a little inside. :p

Why do they feel the need to tack a multiplayer mode on virtually every game these days?

Agreed. The first Dead Space is one of my favourite games ever, it's superb. The second one was a massive disappointment by comparison, and DS3 just looks like a complete betrayal of what the first game accomplished. I'll try the demo, but I doubt I'll ever bother buying it.
