Xbox or not?

Thinking of getting an XBox around christmas time. My daughter (5yr old) loves the Wii and likes to mess around with the XBox in some stores.

Is the XBox a worthy buy these days? Out of the loop when it comes to consoles.

OP, my advice would be to get the 360 and get your daughter Kinect and some games to go with it, she'll absolutely love it. Especially the more kid-focused games like Kinectimals.
