- same game diff, platfgm, any games on a console like GoW XBOW360 or HALO but PC gamers can join?? - will stick with PC then probs. But sisters 360 is here and I got another here (may mod the case) can 360s LAN without LIVE service?

Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Shadowrun, and the last time I tried playing it there was barely anyone online. If you're playing Multiplayer over System Link I don't think you need to have Live.

I think they shut down the servers for Shadowrun.

I am enquiring concerning games that may be played on both Xbox 360 and PC simulatenously. Unfortunately I have come across no games of this type so I will continue playing on my PC.

I have my sisters Xbox 360 and yet another Xbox 360, I was wondering if I may network these in a LAN but I'd like to know if Xbox Live is required?

The only game I know of was Shadowrun, but there was no-one playing it, so they shut the servers down.

I believe you can use lan by just plugging the ethernet cable directly between the xboxes. The official page is here.

All use GFWL & can be played with free MP on PC without Xbox LIVE Gold vs 360 players but you obviously need to buy the game on PC first & the 360 player needs to buy the game on the console as well!

Gears Of War1 is available to buy on PC as well no cross paltform play but it has its own level editor & MP is still very active plus it has extra levels & content the 360 never got either plus graphics are much better & use DX10.
