The instructions for this are pretty poor - mainly cos i am dumb

I rung the number who told me to do it online, so i've registered the console and asked for a repair as its died due to 3RLOD so i have an email confirming it, just waiting for the print label to be emailed.

So do i just goto the UPS site to arrange a pickup? Do i pay for this?

What is best way to package the 360, as i have nothing... :(

/edit

Also i have a 2nd 360 with a E74 error (DVD operates fine, but get pixelation on the screen on different games, so assuming its heat related) - anyone got any good tutorials for fixing this error!

you should get an e-mail from Ms with links to UPS showing labels thats you print out and stick on the box your sending the 360 in. You won't get billed, all you got to do then is arrange a time and AM or PM to pick up again this can be done online on the UPS website

Cheers Muchly :)

slip this one in the box to microsoft instead, get it repaired, then ring up and say its gone again and send the first one in too :D

Will probably come through tommorow since I did mine out over the phone yesterday and was told I would have to wait till Monday for it.

I would have prefered doing mine online aswell, but everytime I went to put my serial number in it came back with an error (although I wish it would have told me the reason I got the error  ). Instead I have to talk to some call center in the middle east and end up getting someone I can neither hear or understand so it took twice as long as it should have.

Email was instant but I got told 24 - 48 hours....

Also find a suitable sized box, a supermarket carrier bag and lots of shredding :D

Combine in the most appropriate way to get rid of lots of paper waste (especially handy if your paper recycling bin is full :))

Well i got the email at 5am... click link and get this:

Error: Unable to retrieve the UPS Label information. Please check the retrieval link. ( Error Code: 0 )

Simply Awesome

I didn't even get an email =/

A guy from UPS turned up at my door at 10:30, asked for the 360, slapped a shipping label on it and took it away :o

Luckily I had just packaged it last night, since I had a feeling they would do this because it happened last time aswell without me even ringing UPS to pick it up. Both times now UPS have just turned up without me doing anything even though it was made clear to me that I would need to ring them myself to arrange the time/date.

I'm not annoyed at UPS since they are only doing what they have been told

I thought the process was easy and quick..

Just printed of the mail ticket and poped the package to the local UPS warehouse.. Replacement came back inside 2 weeks.

Impressive.

I've just had the same thing, asked for a label to be emailed and got nothing, yet I've just had a UPS email saying they are picking up tommorow.

Normally it's smooth but not this time.
