Hi,

Looking to buy an Xbox Series X for my son for Xmas. I wanted to check first though, is there any performance difference between the Digital Series X and the version with the drive? Or is it simply the case that the Digital is just missing the drive? From what I've heard, they've changed the cooling method in the Digital version to heat pipes instead of the vapour chamber method in the previous Series X?

Thanks.

In short, it's the same console minus the drive.
Longer answer, same console in terms of performance but apparently as it's a newer revision of the hardware it's slightly more energy efficient (and no drive)
