Hey guys,

im thinking about getting an XBOX Series controller for my PC. Can I use a standard controller and connect the USB C connection to a USB A/C on my front panel configuration?

Or is it recommended to buy the "XBOX Wireless Adapter" for connection?

Nah, no need for an official one. I just use a cheapo one I got in a muktipack. One side is USB C and other side is normal USB 3.

I do it with a PS5 controller also. I have both on my desk and use whichever I fancy based on the game. Like if it is Sony games I always go with the PS5 controller.

Just ordered a XBOX Series controller, and looked out a lengthy USB C to USB C cable, so will try that out, if it doesnt work then I will switch up to a USB A cable.
