Xbox Series X fan cooling system

Thinking of getting some assisted cooking from one of the fan docks for the X.

Anyone use one? Are they effective? Loud?

not really, I just thought that more cool air would help prolong the life of the XBOX??

Doubtful. Mostly just a con, to get people to spend £40.

I think the user isn't being fair as they've not asked how you store the xbox. Is it in a totally open space or in a TV unit, so the air pushed out the top will hit something and reduce the flow as it goes away?

My first one only had about 3 inches gap above it and it would get warmer than I wanted. Now I have a newer one and changed the space and it feels cooler just because air flows better away from it.

If you can't have a nice open spot, an air cooler may help if not just to help spread that "free" heat around your room and reduce your heating costs

it’s in a open area behind the tv (sitting vertical). So yes, I see where your coming from..
