My son plays games using a mouse and keyboard on an xbox series x and is complaining the monitor he is currently using is too slow and old (60hz).
I have been looking into alternatives for him in the short term until we can build a gaming machine in a few months time.
I have a few questions (apologies I have never owned a ultra-wide screen before)

I have a few questions (apologies I have never owned a ultra-wide screen before)
- Will the xbox series x work on any monitor I choose? e.g.
(Samsung Odyssey G9 or Gigabyte G34WQC Curved 34")
- If I buy a ultra-wide screen, can this be used on an older PC with on-board graphics or will this not work? will it complain it cannot support the resolution?
