What would be best to play cyberpunk 2077 on if you had to pick from - Xbox series x on 4k tv , or PC with Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor - RAM 16GB 3200mhz - GTX 1080ti with 1440p 144hz monitor
 
Since you can't mod on the Xbox, I'd say PC even at 1080ti.

I play on a 1080ti at 3340x1440 and it's fine. Just tweak the settings.

Long term playability for Cyberpunk will be in mods IMHO.

Both the Series X and the PS5 are roughly equivalent to a AMD 3600 CPU and a 3070Ti. Of course OS overheads will affect the fps and res numbers but generally, if you computer is weaker than that then go for a console

I might be wrong here, but can you not get the previous gen xbox one version and get a free upgrade to the Series S/X version?

Like with the ps4 version on a ps5? Or was that only Sony that offered that?

As if so it must be going for a tenner if that these days at cex, as it definitely was £10-15 on gumtree/ebay for awhile for the ps4 version...

My girlfriend plays Cyberpunk on her PS5. It runs and looks great. I can't hit the side of a barn using a controller though.

You have the option of FSR with a 1080 Ti so that would help.
