I've sold our switch and games. First time I've used Cex.

Basically swopped the console by itself for a secondhand 1tb expansion card. (£4 difference). Works well so far. Plus cex give 2yr warranty.

I delisted the switch on here mainly because I discovered it had a battery issue in the main unit, drained fast!, and after playing a while the controller battery swelled.

Cex still seemed happy to give me £156 for it oddly.

Graphics are ok but still not as good as Arkham Knight from 7 years ago. It’s 30fps and pretty consistent but it’s 30fps on a combat game so not great it feels sluggish. The world feels empty and abandoned Spider-Man did it way better and 60fps…

The story seems good but the rest of it makes it a struggle to enjoy.

That's pretty damning. I was hoping this would do well because the Court of Owls storyline is pretty good, but having it look and feel worse than a game from 7 years ago, on last gen hardware...? Unforgiveable.

Yep it's absolutely shocking how terrible it looks and plays.. I love Arkham nights. Hope that dev Rocksteady comes back with another Batman title...

Had the console the day the queen died, awesome day for me (not the queen dead) excellent console, still playing my first game elden ring, once I finish that I have a copy of gears tactics to play.
Has anyone played guardians of the galaxy, Im looking for a bit of a light hearted RPG after elden ring with perhaps a bit of humour.

Guardians I enjoyed, but I do like marvel in general though. It's very rpg light though. I enjoyed the story and voice acting, plus it looked good too.

If you like the GotG films then you'll like the game. The developers did a good job of capturing the visuals and humour. Not difficult, doesn't overstay its welcome ... enjoyable overall.

Loved the GOTG game, thought it was brilliant. Graphically it looked great and the humour was right at my level :D
A really fun game and it was on Game Pass.

Anyone know if it's possible to get on an elite w controller, the share/capture button effect that you have in the xbox one x controllers?

I use this feature to record my clips and it's super handy to push one button and it auto save the last 60 seconds.

Elite 2 controller doesn't have that button, but can it be mapped to one on the back?

Had a few hours on Gotham Knights today and well it’s crap big downgrade from the last Batman game. It starts ok but soon falls to bits pretty quick the combat is annoying at times and repetitive. Definitely wait for a sale or gamepass/PS now addition. Skill ups review pretty much shares my opinions….

Damning.

So I keep on looking at the Xbox Series X all access (£29 a month for 2 years) to upgrade to from my One X(and I guess a good time to potentially sell) How are people finding the X's? At the moment I'm mainly playing Forza Horizon 5, Overcooked 2(:D) and F1 22, though I am tempted to buy the new CoD(first time in 4/5 years)

I enjoy my Xbox One X. Very happy with the purchase. One thing to note is that I was rejected from the All Access deal, but I ended up getting it on the rainforest for £89 a month for five months interest-free.

I've had issues with Klarna(the finance provider)in the past due to different addresses and stuff. Will bear the rainforest idea in mind :)

I've owned every xbox, as well as ps 1 and 2 through the years and this last 2 years is the most time I've put into console gaming, attributed solely to gamepass. Only thing I would say about the all access deal is that if you have the finances to do the console upfront then do that instead and load the gamepass after at the cheaper rate. By doing all access you're paying full whack for the console and the full monthly fee for gamepass (or maybe marginally cheaper, £10?). If finances dictate that's not doable then go for it :)
