Hi, hope someone can help.

i have the bt home hub, which has 2 ethernet ports, my pc and the family one.

now is there any way of connecting my xbox to the internet through my pc as there is no ports free on my home hub.?

i have 2 ethernet ports on my motherboard, 1 free so could i connect the xbox ethernet port to my free one.?

how would i go about this.?

Many thanks

You can do this pretty easily if you really want to.

If you are using XP go to network connections and select your two network interfaces, right click and chose "bridge" and that should be all there is to it.

IMO I would just go and spend £20 and buy a cheap switch to connect to the home hub to offer some extra ports, less hassle and doesn't require you to leave the PC switched on for the Xbox to have an internet connection.
