Hi (not sure if ive posted in the right section but..)

We've just bought a 360 and i would like to connect it up to my monitor (samsung 2232bw). But im not sure how im going to be able to connect it up. Its a Xbox 360 pro btw. Also im going to be using sound..obviously so how can i connect that up? To my sound card? (Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE).

well you need an official vga cable for 360 which can be had for around 18 quid

then either connect to speakers or line-in on pc, simple D:

Cheers for the fast response. Would the *unnofficial competitor store's* Xbox 360 VGA Cable be good enough?

I heard the third party ones are pants.

I bought my setup from game and asked them to chuck in an official vga cable and they wouldnt. They would throw in a turd party one. When I said "aren't they rubbish" they said
"thats why they are free".

Yeah get the official, as a bonus it also comes with the required adaptor to put the sound into your PC line in :)

Took me a while to find the official one.

Had to ring up 3 different removed stores till I found one that stocked it, remoooooved only stocked the 3rd party one.

Check before you make the trip, and check it has the official MS logo at the bottom of the front of the packet, not the 'Mad Catz' one.

lol remove those shop names before u get moaned at :(
