Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10

I thought Microsoft released there new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10? It says release date 8/8/2017

Even MS store doesn't even have it? I see no buy button?

That's the old adapter mate.

The new one looks like this. It releases today worldwide.

Oh... that one says it's for Xbox One so presumed it was the new one! Maybe the picture is just wrong? I would order it and if doesn't work, blame Amazon and they'll send you a free return label.

Maybe the release is 'at some point today' so it might come available later. I would either do the above and order from Amazon or just pre-order and hopefully get it in the next few days.

That pic is right. I've been following this item for weeks now. Yes it's for wins 10 only

Why do you need this one and not the other ? The other works fine with w10

Load of people have issues with the old one. I get disconnected from the dongle all the time. Does my head in. other times it wont connect? This new one fixes those issues and is 66% smaller as well.

Interesting, must be luck of the draw as I've never had issues with mine.

I'm one of those with the intermittent errors, well my 7 yo son mainly, which in turn makes it my problem.....daddddddy!

Had no idea this was a thing, will definitely be grabbing one, cheers.

Never had an issue with mine at all, in fact I use it most days on Forza and it's flawless.

I don't get it - any bluetooth adapter will work, I've been using a cheap one with my PC and controller for a few months now.

only the latest pads use bluetooth, even the elite pads dont.

I keep thinking about getting one of these but im just using a cable for now.

Never had issues with mine either. The original drivers had plenty of bugs and issues, but they fixed those and now it's solid.

I run Windows 10 with the original Xbox One controller and original adapter.

Been using the original with a fresh install of Win10 and it's been perfect with the latest drivers.

I'm on Windows 10, have the old adapter, and haven't had any issues fortunately.
