is there a way i can use the xbox 360 controller via the usb charger lead to the pc to play driving games? the ps3 controller is 10x easier to connect!

ive plugged it in, the driver installed and the red light is on, game controller window/programme doesn't see it!! so the xbox button is flashing after i pressed it but still nothing!!!

am i doing something wrong here???:confused:

yer i understand. i may just use a ps3 controller,

you would think being a microsoft product it would just connect like that!

no its not but on one hand you can download the six axis driver and just plug the ps3 controller in, job done, or have to buy a unit which is £20 or buy a wied controller for £18!! ill go with the ps3 controller!

why? i dont need rumble and axis stuff. if its that hard to just use a xbox controller then the ps32 controller is the easiest option, dont see what the problem is there???? surely microsoft could have easily incorporated 2-3 more wires for data transfer if they know its compatible with pc's

the anologe sticks work fine as do all the other button on grid and lfs!

so you have two controllers 1 ps3 and 1 xbox, one you can plug in download a driver and be away, the other you have to go and buy some thing for it to work and it being microsoft! just another downer for them really, why not just make it a data cable too. but maybe that was too hard for microsoft?
