Xbox wireless PC receiver

Anyone use one of there?

I just bought one to use my wireless 360 controllers on the PC but when I connect the receiver via USB, all sound on the PC stops. No sound will play but if I unplug it its fine.

The controller works fine otherwise.

I'm using Vista 32.

Could it be setting the port where the headset plugs into the controller as the primary sound device.
Can't think of what else it could be.

I hope not, hate to have to use that mic/headphone just to hear sound :/

Yeah, after connecting a controller, it made the headset the primary audio device.
