Xbox X controller stick drift

So, one of our controllers has suddenly developed stick drift.

Left stick only and for instance, playing Minecraft it's moving forwards or backwards by itself.

I know it's supposed to be an easy fix but I've not touched console hardware since the 360 and oven baking them.

Has anyone fixed a controller recently that can recommend a fix set from Amazon?

I can't be doing with the fighting over who gets the crap controller so I need it delivered asap :D

you need to know what pots its got in it... the xbox has various pot types mostly 10k but there is some variation... some pads have as low as 2k pots.

Now this shows replacement of the part but I managed to take the part right down to its individual components and just replace the inner part - worked on 3 controllers, but not the forth. Left stick is easier to access, right stick is a pain but doable with some patience.
